CCR Fund Update! - July 2007

Your continued support has changed the lives of the orphans at Telavi Orphanage in the former Soviet Republic of Georgia! The children have finally moved out of the dangerous and decrepit dormitory (as profiled in The New York Times) and into the newly renovated building. All of this has been made possible because of YOU and your generous support. But remember that the work has barely begun in our quest to help these children. To show your support click here.

The children got their faces painted from the Germans that came to visit the orphanage.

 Their day started off with deciding how they wanted their faces painted and what colors.

This boy chose black and red for his face painting. Inspired by Spiderman perhaps?

The two young ladies look very colorful and are painted quite beautifully.

 As they get their faces painted, the boys pictured in the photo have started to barbeque, lining their skewers all in on a row.

After it is ready to be eaten, the childen grab a skewer for a tasty snack.

The children gather around the table for salads and water as they await for their barbeque skewers.

 The children gather around the table for some simple salads. After they finish their meals, a few of the children bounce back and forth one yellow balloon.
