| The weather has finally warmed in Georgia after an extremely cold and bitter winter. Since the children live in an orphanage there is very little outside help with daily and seasonal chores.
With locally donated seeds, the children begin to prepare the soil around the orphanage for planting of vegetables that will help suppliment an already meager diet.
Donated seeds are used for planting and the process is also used as part of their classroom curriculum at the orphanage.

| Younger orphans find simple pleasure in a darkened life on the warm days of planting.
Spring cleaning takes on a new meaning with brooms that appear to be straight out of the middle ages! But it gets the job done.
Older children take advantage of the warm weather to hold tutoring sessions outside for the youngsters. The paper and writing implements have been donated.

| Donated yarn takes on a whole new meaning when it’s used for a very simple arts and crafts lesson.
The yarn is also used to begin making warm items for next year’s winter season. Fortunately, warm contemporary jackets (like the one shown here) have been purchased for the children from the donations given by caring people like YOU!
