| The orphanage at Telavi, Georgia has been under the continued guidance and determination of Omar (at left) since the 1960's. With your support he has been able to share the burden of caring for hundreds of children with his grandson, also named Omar.

The United States isn't the only group involved with helping CCRFund. Our friends and allies of Great Britain regularly stop by and pay for supplies out of their own pockets for the children.
We may take stoves and oven for granted, but in many countries in the world they are a luxury. The men and woman of the British military helped install this oven which was paid for by the funds you help provide to the CCRFund.

| With your continued support, the CCRFund is able to make weekly or bi-weekly trips to the orphanages to drop off supplies. Since the collapse of the Soviet Union these children are almost without any support. Many of the adults who work with them locally are volunteers.

Through the generosity of a donor, the orphanages have taken a major step to enter the world of the 21st century. Computers!
For the first time the children will be introduced to technology (other than the one television, that often does not work). Although the computers were a gift, they will need to be maintained on a regular basis. Your support helps provide this vital component for the children's education.

| And who are the children that you help support? This young girl and her sister were orphaned in Chechnya because of the war and arrived at Telavi with only the clothes on their backs. If you ever wonder how your donation is helping, please know that it goes DIRECTLY to children like her.
The majority of orphans are boys. Although they do attend basic classes at the orphanage there is really nothing else to do at the orphanage. Your support provides non-academic books (they love Harry Potter, in Georgian!), games and now the wonders of the world through the computer.
CCRFund also hopes to be able to begin support the older orphans who have made an effort to improve their lives with business plans. Because unemployment is so high (sometimes 30%) in former Soviet countries, young men like Gorgi want to start their own small businesses (he wants to raise ducks!). Your help can make this very American ideal a possibility.
