Draw Providence!

Follow these steps and create your own version of the feisty heroine. Remember, no two drawings are exactly the same. Your Providence does not have to look exactly like Robert's character.

As you can see from his book, Robert draws Providence in lots of different situations and wearing different costumes.

Step 1: Draw an oval with a little bump. This will be Providence's head.

Step 2: Add two round circles for ears. The first ear is a little bigger and has another circle on the inside.

Step 3: Draw one more circle and add a dot. This is Providence's eye. Give her a mouth too.

Step 4: Add a triangle for Providence's dress.

Step 5: Two rectangles make Providence's sleeves.

Step 6: Providence needs arms and hands. Providence has just four fingers on each hand.

Step 7: Two upside down triangles make Providence's legs. Her shoes are ovals.

Step 8: Add details, like square pockets and round buttons. Don't forget the pencil Providence always carries behind her ear!
