URURUN (Home Stay Travelog)

The Japanese documentary tv show URURUN (which translates to Home Stay Travelog) sends a Japanese actor from Japan to the country of a master artist to learn their specific talent. The reality show documents the entire trip from beginning to end. In this case, the actor was Shunsuke Daito, 23 originally from Osaka and now living in Tokyo. He stayed with Robert and Matthew for one week at their apartment. The crew filmed his process each day from morning till late night working on his own pop-up book. Shunsuke chose a long beloved Japanese tale, Momotaro, which translates to Peach Boy. The episode aired June 24th on TBS Japan. Click to watch the clips! (Note: All ages were misnoted in translation.)
