Simple Pop-ups you can make: Providence Traveler

Step 3

Lay the print out that has the picture of Topo on a flat surface. Take a ruler and line the edge of it up against the short dotted lines at the top and bottom of the card.

Use the rounded end of a paper clip (or a ball point pen that has run out of ink) and carefully press down along the centerline, carefully scoring the card all the way from top to bottom.

  Step 4

Cut out the card following the solid, GREY lines around the edges only.

Color in the picture of Topo with markers or crayons, but make sure you DON’T color in the areas that say “Glue Here!”

  Step 5

Fold the card in half, closing it along the center fold line you've just scored. Crease it with your thumb and finger, then open the card up again.

Step 6

Lay the print out of Providence on a flat surface. Take your ruler and carefully score ALL the GREY dotted lines. DO NOT score any black lines. Take your time and make sure you score ALL the GREY dotted lines (there are 11 lines to score!).

Color in the picture of Providence and the flying machine with markers or crayons!

  Step 7

Cut out Providence and the flying machine carefully following the solid, GREY lines around the edges. DO NOT cut any of the black lines!
  Step 8

Fold the entire pop-up piece in half along the center fold line, making sure that all the dotted lines are still visible...
