The book is only about 7 1/2 inches square, smaller than our studio's usual format. We think it's just right for this book, though! The baby on the cover is signing "I love you".

Here is an early white version of the Bath pop-up. In this version you can see that everything is just a general shape, waiting for the artist to come along and refine the details.

Jaqueline Rogers did a fantastic job with the artwork for this book - the babies are adorable! If you compare this final color version with the white dummy, you can see that the rubber ducky is now facing the other direction.

In the pencil dummy stage of the book, Jaqueline has sketched out a general idea of how the final illustrations will look.

Here, Kyle added the baby's body to the pop-up. In this spread, the baby is signing "book".

In the last spread, the family signs "I love you" and the babies on either side are signing "Daddy" and "Mommy".
