February Sneak Peek
Before the book even hits the shelf we have a first look at Robert's highly anticipated new picture book series!

Providence Traveler is coming!

Anyone familiar with Robert's work knows that he LOVES history. Now he has the chance to explore any time through the inventiveness and pluck of his new picture book heroine, Providence Traveler.   This pencil and watercolor illustration of Florence, Italy's Carnival in the 16th century comes courtesy of inventor and artist Providence Traveler. There are several of Providence's pictures (even one by her brother, Malcolm!) in her debut picture book, "Uh-Oh, Leonardo!" She keeps a sketchbook with her at all times "just in case I have an idea." Leonardo da Vinci is also one of Robert's favorite heroes.

In Robert's latest picture book, Providence, her brother Malcolm and new friend Topo find themselves unexpectedly thrown back in time to the year 1503.

Much of the action takes place in the crowded streets of Florence, Italy. After a race against the clock to return to their own time, they find themselves up against an unexpected foe at Florence's spectacular cathedral!

If you want to get a signed, first edition of this fantastic adventure come to the Gift Shop NOW!

Alice in Wonderland Preliminary design work is in full swing on Robert's upcoming pop-up book "Alice in Wonderland." At left is a rough, all white version of the first scene where Alice leaves her sister to chase the rabbit down a hole (which we hear is a tunnel book!). Do those faces in the treetops look familiar?

Above, center are pencil sketches of the main characters and at upper right is the rough, white version of the infamous tea party. We can't believe that there are actually 3D teacups on the table!
